did LJ change?

Didn't it used to be possible to go to previous pages of friend's entries on a Friends Page? I seem to remember being able to go to 'previous 20' to catch up on updates...did that go away? Anyone else notice that option missing? Or did it move?

It's still there - although it moves depending on what style the individual is using. Yours, for instance, is right at the top above your most recent entry. Mine is in the right-hand column. You may have to look around a bit.

on my 'friends' page? i see it on my page, with only my entries, but i'm looking for it on my friends page, so i can catch up with all my friends' posts without going to their individual journals. was that confusing?

Oh, sorry - I thought you meant a specific friend.

Generally, it's located on your Friends page in the same place as on your own "recent entries" page - but in your case, it looks like its not there. I still have one on mine. Have you changed your "style" recently?

no, but maybe i should. maybe this style got changed in an update somewhere. ;) i haven't been on lj in a couple months, so i don't know if that has something to do with it.

My free account still lets me go back to previous friends' pages. You might want to change your journal style and see if it works.

Some will just say 'earlier' (posts) rather than 'previous 20'. I would imagine that has something to do with their style. But it does vary where it is on a page and how it appears.

huh. i still can't find it on the 2 styles i've tried. but good to know it's not a feature that's gone. i'll keep trying.
