So, my mom is pushing me into getting a loan for this trailer my brother may be selling. We don't know how much, but the trailer is on our land, and I would end up paying like $100 a month rent, plus water and electricity

Living next door is totally uncool to teh max. You'll never get out if you live in a trailer next door to your mom.

The devil's advocate part here is, you could always use like half of it for a studio, and have plenty of space to keep your work going on.
You're a college grad so you should get paid vacation. 4 sure. But you don't wanna work in a hopspittle forever neether. Is there a teaching position anywhere you wanna go? Boston or Deetroit or Colorado or West Virginny or something?
The yen has somehow fallen below the dollar so now's a good time for me to convert my yen to $$ YAY.
