(no subject)
For once I don't know where to start, so much has happened in such short period of time. Well I guess we should start with the good things right? Here it goes...
After months of waiting, I finally got a car. So as you all probably know my old car semi-died. I didn't drive it for a couple of weeks because I was afraid it would completely die if I drove it. So when summer school started I had a transportation problem, so my dad did something to it and it worked... for a while. The car was fine when I drove to school. But then one day my dad decided to drive it to work. My dad works in Sherman Oaks... yeah the car didn't make it lol. He was driving back home and I don't know what exactly happened and the engine died. I was so happy when it did because it meant that I was finally gonna get a new car after months of asking for one! So the next day we went out in search for a car. We found nothing here in the AV. Then we did some research online and we found a Focus that seemed ok. I honestly didn't want a Focus but I was tired of looking around. So when I was heading out for work I told my sister that the Focus was at the bottom of my list. If they didn't find a Corolla, that I wanted a Jetta and so on but that the Foucs was my last resort. So then I went to work. During my break I called home and nobody answered, so then I dialed my dad's cell and he told me that he was at the Toyota dealership in Valencia. He told me that he was in his way to buy the Focus but on the way there, Jennifer convinced him to stop by and look at the Toyotas. My dad gave in and he found one! I was so happy. For the first time ever Jennifer came through! lol, just kidding :P
But the happiness only lasted a day...
The next day I was talking to my mom and out of nowhere she tells me that they've decided to move to Texas. My dad had joked about it in the last couple of months so I really didn't believe her, but then my dad walks in and he tells me it true. I still didn't really believe them but I just went along with it. But then we started looking at model homes and my dad started to do some research on colleges in Houston. When my dad started to look at colleges over there, I knew they were serious. My parents are going to Texas in two weeks to look at homes. We're soon gonna start getting rid of things because we need to paint the house and we're gonna get everything new. We're gonna sell our two other cars because we don't want to drive all of them over there. We were planning on buying another new car anyways. I don't see why we have to get rid of the truck but whatever. We have to start applying to colleges (Uni. of Houston baby!). So many things to do in such short time. We're noy moving until June, but time goes by so fast. It's kind of exciting though. Starting a new life in Texas y'all. I will miss Palmdale though. I've lived here for 14/15 years how can I not miss this place. I've watched Palmdale grow. I've grown with Palmdale. The California beaches - hurricane free. Sure you get the occasional earthquakes but no biggy. Oh, and the snow. How I love the snow. AND MY FRIENDS!!! My awesome friends. The friends that deal with my craziness. Oh God how I love you guys. I'm gonna end this here. I still have 10 months here! lol. Too soon for goodbyes.

Last week was like my luckiest week ever. I won movie tickets at work, I got free Baskin Robbins ice cream, a got a free whole pizza because they doubled up on my order! That happens like once in a lifetime people. Oh and I went to Mulligans and the whole time we were there I was finding tickets and tokens everywhere! Too bad the prizes were horrible :P I need to buy a lottery ticket. I'm feeling lucky!
Today my sister and I were planning what we were gonna do the week my parents are gone. It's gonna be Jennifer and Stephanie for 10 whole days. We got things planned out though! But what really stinks is that my parents are gonna be gone for my birthday! How dare they! And Haydee's gonna be gone on her camping trip :( This birthday's gonna suck. Well not really because Jennifer and me have plans :P Oh yeah!
