Here comes the rain again ….

Ok “again” doesn’t really suit considering we’ve had stinking heat waves the past few weeks. Don’t all collapse of shock but I’m actually way thankful for the rain this week … and no, not just because I don’t have to water my plants each night! ROFL ( Read more... )

I knew Friday would be a difficult time for you.. I hope you're doing OK.. it's never easy to say "goodbye" to someone.. I know you will keep in touch with Yvette though, that's she's someone special in your life.. hopefully she'll be in Sydney a bit on her flights!

Glad you had fun with Louise too.. I need to email her, can you send me her work address again? I have lost it.. I haven't "talked" to her since I was home in October, 2002 I think.. time to drop her an email.. the "cleansing" with the bracelet might just be a wonderful thing.. I loved the way you did it, up the skillion.. that's so perfect! I could just picture it.. even if just psychologically you have finally let go of the last of anything in the back of your mind (that you maybe didn't even know was there).. the future is only an open book now! I know something great is right around the corner!

I am going to look at duty free camera's when we go to Ireland too.. I have one of my Dad's camera's, but I really want a digital..

Have you started researching digitals? Right now I have about 5 I am interested in! LOL I need to read up on them, their pros/cons etc. I saw the prices in the US, they are like less than half here. A camera I would pay close to $800 for here I can get there for $289 or some B.S. I considered waiting and buying it in America but ... what if dollar winds up sucking in Aug and I'd need to buy a converter and re charge it that way.

Not knowing what to do!!!!

I had researched in the past about camera's.. since I was going to get one for my birthday a couple years ago.. the one I had wanted was about $430.00 I think.. it was HP.. I know Tim said at least 5MP is pretty important, anything less isn't worth the value.. he's big on name brands, so HP or Canon we were looking at.. that's about all I remember from when I looked back then.. there's too many, it is a difficult process..

There is too many! Louise has 3.2 MP's and hers is brilliant! Too big for my liking though. Jeanette has 4MP's and hers is FANTASTIC. I dont know anyone thats got 5 but everyone I know thats got 3.2 or 4 produces fantabulous pictures. It also depends on where you get your pics reprinted/the printer you've got etc.

UGGGH! The one I'm looking at is the Canon IXUS 400 or something.
