And the eyepatch only works if you have the right attitude. Being a pirate isn't all about looks, you know. You need- [Shrugs] -Spirit. Only when you've mastered a true pirate's spirit can you finally sail the seas like one. [His joking fails due to the flat, halfhearted tone. But it is still clearly (or not so clearly) a joke- he just doesn't care if it tricks you or not at the moment.]
