a dilemma of sorts

Hi everyone, long time not rant.

Well, don't get your hopes up because this is really just another borderline rhetorical question that I want someone else to decide for me. As incentive, there's potential to spend 87$ of my money, so if you think making Dan go poor and/or get hammered is funny, that's something...

I think you should go, because even if it does end up being crazy awkward, you could still end up meeting some fun people (between the lines: get new business contacts/people to play with).

Also, because I love you, if you would like my company, I will fork over $87 and go with you. However, I don't get back until the 2nd. So, uh, if the party's before the 2nd, then buu-buu.

Thirdly, I really want to see Letters from Iwo Jima. If you see it with me, I will even pay for your ticket. <3

You should go Dan! But I think you should find one other person to go to so that even if it is one of those parties then at least you have someone to talk to. Also if it gets too boring you can leave with them. You have to start making connections somewhere after all!

At the very least it'll give you some idea about how things work in LA. Even if it sucks it will be a learning experience for the future. I mean if it sucks then you'll know not to go to one next time and you'll be able to figure out which parties you'll have fun in and which you wont.

If it was me I'd just go there for about an hour and a half, see how it goes and then if it looks like it's not going anywhere just leave. Though it's your choice of course
