So, one day we went to Philadelphia to see kyle and heather and to check out a place they were thinking about for their wedding reception.
Jenna came too!
It really was a neat place.
We were walking back to our car when these two gay guys had these dogs. We just stopped to pet them until we found out the puppies were being sold. Heather tried to negotiate a lower price just because, but nothing came out of it.
We walked away, and then my mom and dad looked at eachother, turned around and we bought one! The girl. She's a giant now though, and her name is Ella.
I took Austin to this place called Pottery Works in Lancaster. He made a candle holder, and I made a cup!
Then we ate pizzza that actually wasn't so great.
We both flew back to Missouri for the forth of july and Austin took me to a Royals game.
For the 4th of July we went with a large group of his friends to his friend Trevor's house at the Lake of the Ozarks. We drove down with his friend Dahvid in his jeep, with no top on. It was windy and cold!
In all there were about 20 people staying in one house. But it was a good time :)
During my trip there for the 4th of July, my poppop passed away. I had to fly home early for his funeral. Before I did though, Austin took me out in the boat for a little fishing at his old dock. It's the honey hole, or pot, or something like that he calls it.
I wasn't feeling all that well, but I still caught a bunch!
clearly they were large fish, ha.
It's not hard to fall in love with Lake Lotawana.
I went back home and spent some quality time with Megan and Jess before I left again.
Then August 12th came around and I was due to leave home. We flew Austin back to PA for a day or two before hand, and we packed up my car. We left the morning of the 12th for a drive that took the entire day.
While pictures made it look like all laughs and giggles, it was one of the hardest drives of all time.
I got there and moved into where Austin was living (his friend Kyle's sister's basement - which sounds more complicated than it really was) It was the place where I always stayed before. We were due to move out though within the month, which got pushed back a bit, but we were okay with that. September was made up of starting school and a lot of sailing.
This one's for my Mom.
Kyle owned a boat, and started to live on it as well. We visited a lot, and just sat around or watched movies, or actually went sailing.
Some of these are film, and scanned so ignore the bad quality. Austin models sometimes too, hah.
Lake Jacomo.
Once again, out on the boat!
Taylor, her sister Courtney, and Tyler came out too :)
It's only a little scary when it tips, but I usually liked it.
Austin booked his own night in Columbia, MO at a placed called The Artisan. He had his own Dance Party called Hustle, and we promoted it the best we could that day all around the University of Missouri campus.
His friend Iggy helped that night, and they switched back and forth.
I took money and stamped people's hands with Kyle.
And once in a while took a ride on a tiger.
About 100 people showed up.
This girl was out of her head drunk, but we got her some help in the end.
Austin's friend Justin had a party/zine release the next night, which we all went to. First we spent the day at Courtney's house with Taylor, Jessica, Tyler, Tucker, Amy, and others too that I'm probably forgetting.
Fall was coming and this yellow field in gate 6 lured us in.
I took some of Austin.
Austin took some of me.
Then the day was finallly here. We moved into our own house on the lake on September 24th. Don't mind the words, these were to show my mom!
I love seeing the lake from the front windows of the house. It's mostly the dam, but it looks beautiful when the sun is setting.
I guess nothing much happened between then and the end of October. At least I didn't have many pictures. Austin had another Hustle night, but it didn't work out very well. Halloween was approaching and he played a show in Springfield, very last minute.
It was fun. (note the girl flipping me off!)
The weather was reallly cooling down, but we went on another sail boat ride on one of the nicer days.
I secretly really love it!
Then it was Halloween! Austin played an hour set at a little kids elementary catholic school which was fun, and then a party in KC on the 30th. On Halloween, Kyle and Austin hosted their own party in Kyle's garage. It was a blast, but hectic. Austin was a mummy, and me, a mime!
