Friday is once again date night

I am going out on my 3rd date with Lisa tonight. We are going to Famous Dave's for dinner and then going to see The Hunger Games.

Um...Playing Warcraft 3 and checking LJ. That's the big plan right now. Have fun at The Hunger Games! I devoured the books, but can't ever seem to get myself to the movies.

Let me know how the Hunger Games is. Like Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, I have never read the series/books and would be interested in whether or not they follow the books closely. I'd like to see the movies first and then check out the books, the opposite of what I usually do ( as with Lord of the Rings, I read the books first, then saw the movies)

I thought the Hunger games was pretty good. I have not read the books so I do not know how true it was to them.

I went to see Dark Side of Oz at the Roxie Theater. You know, that's where they play Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon over The Wizard of Oz. I had never seen it. There are definitely some fascinating intersections. Plus there were at least 20 lit joints inside the theater. ~laughs~
