Shawn and I sat down with a mortgage broker last night. Scary stuff, man! Turns out, Shawn and I both have great credit, and could fairly easily get a loan for $180,000 for a house. EXCITING! Now I'm just doing some research on different types of mortgages to find the best one for us.

I can't wait to start looking at houses! :)

Shawn and I did our volunteer thing at St. Patrick's senior citizen center...in DETROIT. I didn't know it was in downtown Detroit...that was nifty. At least we were inside due to the weather.
