Yay!:-D I actually use iChat now. But AIM never caused me any problems, no. Just download the latest version for Mac, if you want AIM.

iChat is the mac-friendlier version of AIM. You use your AIM SN and it uses your AIM buddy list, and everything. It just had options like an address book, and is set up a wee bit differently.
