Let the record show that I never agreed to such bet, after warning from Professor Lupin. Lord knows I'm NOT in a mood to start losing housepoints...

[hexed for privacy]WHAT IS YOUR MALFUNCTION!?? If you want to lose house points, that's your problem; don't drag me into it!!

By the way, I've seen your comrades in arms on the quidditch field. Slytherin has NO chance at the cup this year. Hope you're ready to break your winning streak.[/hex]

Daphne is smart. The Professor told us we must use these, so that's how it is.

Do Prefects take points? How much power do you have now? [private]Can you deduct from anyone you want to?[/private]

Daphne is smart, but she sulks a lot. silly girl.

only Prefects can deduct points and the head boy and girl, too. and only for certain things. though I try and deduct for as much as possible, especially when the gryffindorks are involved.

have to be careful, though. it's easy to get in trouble for abusing my "priviledges"

Perhaps she has reasons?

Of course, don't be obvious about it. From what I hear, some think Snape is too obvious, but being professor, he can do that.[private]

hmm. I never thought to ask. perhaps I will.

Snape's the only obvious one, I assure you! it's good for a laugh when mcgonagall treats the gryffindors just like she does the rest of Us!

Do you want to know our secrets, Monsieur? Non!!!

But we might take a little pity and teach you a tiny bit.

I don't really care about your secrets, unless they are about me.

And today's secret is -- I won't tell you whether or not we do have secrets about you!

As for French being the language of love, it depends on how you speak it, Monsieur.
