Kansas City, MO (more accurately: Liberty, MO) is f'in freezing!!! The high today is supposed to be in the low 20's. I did not know the World got this cold. It is absolutely amazing to a Florida girl like me. I can not wait to get back home where the temperatures are "normal."

The job in Kennesaw (just north of Atlanta) went really fast, so I had a lot of time to hang out there. I went to see The Lord of War, which was a very good movie. It did not glorify gun runners, and most of the story is based on true events. It is amazing what these people get away with ( Read more... )

Denver seems very nice. I have only really seen it from the highway though. I did not feel like going anywhere yesterday when I had time off, so I just slept. Today I fly home, and Hurricane Rita is going to be in our way, so the flight will probably be longer if they have to go around it. So, I am stuck in Tamarac, FL (it's near Ft Lauderdale). Hurricane Rita is going to be too close, so all the county offices are closed. I have a ton of equipment to finish installing, wire it all (neatly), and configure it all to work together.
