Leaving tomorrow night for France. Am half thrilled, half hoping to chop my cousin's heads off with axes. Should be fun. Anyway, this may be my last entry for a while, except if dad gets internet installed at home in France. Don't be. I am, after all, half-french, and it is my right to report that France is none of the bellow
a) romantic
b) friendly
c) cousin-less

The house I will be staying in is unfurnished, unpainted, and has no central heating. In a bizarre twist of fate, it has the most gorgeous rose briars I've ever seen. But no, France isn't as brilliant as people say it is. Picturesque, yes, but it fails to live up to it's reputation.
