Pet Peeves, second installment

This one is something I'm not always aware of, but (thankfully?) Dad reminded me of it during dinner tonight as he read us an article he found on Yahoo! News.

Pet Peeve #2: eating contests:

I've always thought eating contests were pretty gross. It's kind of funny that we keep having them with everyone panicking about the obesity rate, except not funny at all. :\

Tell me about it... Many years ago, when we still had only one computer in the house, Dad got a video from somewhere... it featured a guy stuffing his face with living worms!!! *puke* Ever since, I've been grossed out by eating contests of all sorts...

Good point about the obesity rate, it slipped my mind!
