HOLY FUCKING JASHIN, I HAVE FINALLY WRITTEN SOME HALF-ASSED TEXT IN EVERY CHAPTER OF MY THESIS!!!!

As far as I'm concerned, I'm fucking DONE with looking for more sources, and all that's left is for my Mom and a family friend (Urs) to supervise everything (typos, content logic etc.).

HELL. FUCKING. YEAH.

Thanks! ^_^ God, I'm still so fucking happy, even next day... See, I love correcting stuff, but I hate writing it... scientific things, I mean. Fanfiction is my anti-drug and something I can't wait to get back to ;)

God, scientific and technical writing is the WORST!! (<---Psych major... wanted to gouge my eyes out with a dull spoon rather than write some of those papers)

I know, right?! It's so unimaginative, and the average person doesn't get what the text is actually saying... See, I believe that if science really would be conducted for the good of mankind, they'd try to actually share the knowledge with some of the common folks too. Instead, they bog it down with tons of jargon and make themselves look like this elite, perhaps somewhat alien society which speaks a very complicated language. But the worst thing is its dry style and ridiculous citation rules.

My thesis is about user research in academic libraries: which methods can be used, what tools are available, and what sort of research has been conducted in the last 20 years of the German-speaking countries? It's all selective, of course (not writing a master thesis, thank Batman)... I just hope that what I chose to describe will be enough to land me a passing grade!

Heehee, giving it all that I can, considering how fed up I am with the whole thing ;) Urs proofread the whole thing already, and he reckons I should get at least a B with it... God, I hope he's right! 'Cause if I get a B, I will have automatically passed!

(See, the written thesis accounts for 80% of the overall grade, the other 20% are for the oral part. A B would be a 5 our grading system, and I need a 4 (overall) to pass... So a 5 in my written thesis would make me already have a 4! :D)
