History Core - 7th-9th grades
7th grade: prehistory through to the 14th century
8th grade: 14th-18th centuries
9th grade: 18th century-present
These three classes are designed to be taken consecutively, and provide a broad view of world history from prehistory to the present day. Required for middle schoolers; advanced students can test into the high school classes.
High School:
Any combination of classes can serve to fill the requirements, so long as two are taken. All classes are taught at the
International Baccalaureate level.
- European History: an in-depth view. Students have the option of focusing on a specific country should they choose; they will be given an examination at the end of the school year.
- United States History: an in-depth view.
- Asian History: in-depth view. Students have the option of focusing on a specific country should they choose; they will be given an examination at the end of the school year.
She also teaches advanced electives in 20th Century History and the Renaissance, for 11th and 12th grades only.
