They (kids) push and push and push. Fortunately, I broke my kids of that by the time they were seven. It sounds to me like Katy is trying to find her right 'place' in the family. I don't know, I still say that all kids are demon spawn until they get in their late teens...and then they're just demons ;)

*big hugs*

Well, Katy WILL get over the punishment, no matter how many times she comes to you and says, "What did I do again?" She is still trying to test you and see if you are still mad about it, she KNOWS she pushed the limit, and while she is a mini-you, it's not like you can't love her and guide her to be a wonderful person in the process. Most teens push that limit daily. While the teen years could be fun, mostly it's about then figuring out who they are, where they "fit in", in the family and with their friends and which boy they like for the week. Is it possible that something is happening outside the home to get her to "react" that way?? Something at school? With her friends? Be that investigative stalker, there could be something else going on. Massive

I know she'll get over it...like I said shes already trying to do the suck up thing but its not working...I usually end up caving and give in, this is another reason they think they can get away with stuff but its time to get it done and get it done right before it gets TOO out of control...shes a little mad because all of her friends have cell phones and their own pcs...etc...etc..., my kids have to WORK for what they want, I dont just hand it to them so maybe shes mad about that too...shes really a great kid so in the long run hopefully things are worth all this drama. *crosses her fingers*
LOve you sis, you are truly worthy of your A&W status and I hope you never change
