I accidentally bought a nitro stout a couple of years back. I don't mean "accidentally" in a bad sense of the word - I picked out a selection of beers from the international aisle, and did not notice that the eye-catching stout I grabbed was a nitro.
It was a stonking good beer, and I made a beeline for it the next time I was in the store. I inquired about it when I couldn't find it and they told me they'd had to remove it from the shelves because they'd had "quality-control issues".
I hope the issues were not with people accidentally picking it up like I did and then complaining back to the store that the beer was odd.
Oh these posts make me sad. I hope Guinness N/A can work the bugs out of their packaging and get their product distributed over here. No alcohol, but I'll bet it's still better than a sharp stick in the eye.

I do prefer the non-nitros, though. My favourite is Sheaf Stout, which imo is better than Guinness brewed under licence.
Guinness brewed in Ireland is the best.
