THANK YOU for all of your kind words.
My dad is OK, he's had a stint put in, and he's still in ICU. Because of the blood thinners, he's had some trouble with clotting, so everything is taking longer than it normally would. I hope he's out of ICU by Monday.
He will require 5 bypasses, but they will be able to do all of them during one surgery ( Read more... )

My father, just about a year ago to date, had a heart attack. Almost a year since my mother passed away. I was so afraid... and I know you were, too.
They told my dad that he only needed 2 bypasses. But he ended up getting 5 as well. That morning, before he headed off to work, he took 4 asprine because his head really hurt. The doctor pulled me aside and told me straight out that if he hadn't taken 4 asprin or any less, he would have died on the spot.
I am so glad that he is going to be alright... keep us all posted, alright dear? If you ever need to talk about anything, I am here. I've been through it, and it's rought. Keep staying strong and keep moving!
