I'm getting tired of needing all night to come down off the ledge. It's mostly my own fault, of course. Some things need to change. But I'm lucky to be where I am. And ultimately, I'm happy. And now I'm going to bed.

Things with Stephanie have been really good lately. I think it helps that I'm making a little money- not enough, but it's taking just a bit of pressure off her, anyway. She seems less stressed- I know she's trying hard. And a little bit of lust has come back into our relationship- I'm sure losing 30 lbs didn't hurt :-D ( Read more... )

Just busted out of the SCOOP Main Event after an unimpressive performance. I ran JJ into a set of fours (probably could have got away from it), then my flopped pair of kings got run down by 1010 on the river to finish me off. Had a discouraging moment when I ordered two brand new pairs of jeans ($60 each!!), got them in the mail, excitedly put them on... and they fit like something I stole from a hooker. Apparently 626 and Nautica size their clothes differently. So, now I have something to shrink into I guess. That's still going good- 5 lbs in March, like clockwork. ( Read more... )
