I had this awhile ago - the Dr told me it was an infection without even giving me an exam @_@ and it got worse and worse till I basically couldnt see. I went to eye casualty - free in the UK as well and I got there early so was seen right away. We went the other day because of Alexs allergic reaction and as we werent there for opening, it took over 2 hours to be seen.
I hope he is doing better soon. Mine was horrible, the pain was evil so I know how he feels!!
BTW, did you get my payment? I sent it....I dont even know when now @_@ because I am so disorganised and then forgot to tell you I sent it!!

Wow, that's really awful. I'm so glad we decided to go to the Optometrist.. Since they're not paid for through taxes, they didn't mess us around. In the Hospital Emergency proper we watched everyone who came in before us get looked after, then everyone who's come in AFTER us!

I did receive your payment and it's all packaged and ready to go :D Should be shipped tomorrow if nothing unexpected comes up!

He says he's feeling better, though he can't see well, still. We'll know after the test results tomorrow!

Ugh, the waiting times are ridiculous. Pretty much the only other option is to call 9-11 and be brought in by ambulance. But when it's more an intense pain then a serious I'm-dying-emergency nobody wants to call 9-11 and use up their resources... so waiting all day in the ER pretty much becomes the only option.

Hope his eye recovers safely!

It's ridiculous, we came in at a really quiety time, too. After 4 hours everyone we'd seen in there BEFORE we came in was already helped, as well as almost everyone who came in since. We concluded that eye problems must be on the lower tier of injury priorities.. Luckily the Optometrist doesn't mess around with that shit.

He seems to be doing better :) He was before, though, so I'm hoping the follow-up appointment doesn't have some really unfortunate test results @_@

Damn that is really scary! D: I am glad that he is ok though.

Also four hours waiting in the ER? Ugh, I feel your pain. I had to wait for just about that when I went in with a massive migraine. I could barely see and yet all they wanted to do was make me fill out paperwork. Luckily my mom was with me and could do it for me since there was no was I could think clearly.

I'll find out after his appointment results get back <3

Aw jeez. I had a couple migraines where looking back I SHOULD have gone to ER.. But since I get migraines all the time, really off-the-charts bad still just feels like something I should ride out. I'm sorry you had to go through that and I hope you got something for it!

Hopefully good news for Brad?

Usually I don't go but this one was the worse one I've ever had where I felt like I was going to throw up the minute I saw light. I had to wear a towel over my face riding there and while in the hospital because the sun and lights were too much. (I was told by the doctor that most headaches you can ride out but there are some (dizziness and sensitive to light with no relief from painkillers) that you should really go to the ER for) I got this shot which the name of escapes me at the moment but it was instant relief! I swear I wanted a case of those shots because it work so quickly against my migraine. xD
