I too have been feeling conflicted by my collecting lately.. mostly because I don't know when I'll be able to put it out for display again, and then because I have too many medical bills, sigh... But they'll get their money when they get their money, I give them payments each month 8|

BUT. Then I as well purchased a large order of Pokedolls from gin.. >__<" IT'S AN ADDICTION, I CAN'T HALP IT. (Plus a substitute for my friend)

LJ wasn't sending me notifications either, then they slowly began to trickle into my inbox.

You are not alone, I have been conflicted about my collection. Money is tight and Rodney wants to travel more. Plus, I won to much as it is in my book! I'm going to be clearing a lot out of here really soon. I also decided to just concentrate on the Pokemon cats, except for Meowth. He has way to much merch, but I will pick-up what I really like! I'll also keep my Giratina Origin collection, wouldn't want Pickles mad at me. Though, a good chunk of my Team Rockey stuff will be going!

The only new thing I had ordered was a Substitute Plush from the first batch. I turned around and sold it on eBay to raise money for Rodney's 50th b-day next month. I don't plan to buy anything new unless it is of Purrloin, Liepard, Purugly or Persian.

I understand how you feel about collecting - since I've been out of work, I have brought next to nothing and have been wondering about selling things. I am pretty content to look at my collections though as well as add to them so I suppose thats a bonus for me! I expect if we all had unlimited money/storage, we wouldnt have any guilt. I say do what makes you happy - as long as you are not majorly in debt or hurting anyone, go for it and to hell with the rest!
