I took alphamajor to Fry's. He was overwhelmed. He found
some anime he had been looking for cheap.

I have told many of you about the staffing difficulties where I work.
I wanted to let everyone know that there won't be any layoffs.

The doctor's office called to tell me I have developed secondary
hyperparathyroidism. This is a common problem in people with chronic
kidney disease. Fortunately it is supposed to be very treatable. But
it means adding yet another medicine to my portable pharmacy. Bleah.

The car I rented from Hertz came with a free Sirius satellite radio.
Sirius has an all Elvis channel. I am not making this up.

I bought a kitchen cart for jmattax, houdini_cs, and skitzycat. jmattax and I spent a half hour or so setting it up tonight. It was very satisfying. It has been quite some time since I have felt this content.

I had some medical tests today. They were worried about cancer.
There was no sign of any cancer or any other major problem. They said
it was unlikely I would need to repeat the test for at least 10 years.
Needless to say it is a great weight off my mind.
