We got a cat!

I've been waffling about it for a long time, and finally adopted a two year old Maine Coon mix from a local rescue. A couple of the rescue workers call her a diva cat, but the director said it's mostly that she doesn't like other cats--she likes humans fine, but she is not a fan of feline company. We do! There was supposed to be dinner, but I suck. I need to not be an ass about having actual human interaction, is what I need.

I have a (crazed, almost year-old) part Maine Coon! They are the very best, if somewhat nuts, of all the things.

I didn't know Maine Coons came in muted tortie. Interesting.

I wish you joy of her furship!

I think they come in most colorations, but she's a mix anyway. Lily's pretty calm other than still being skittish, but my sister-in-law's cat, which we suspect was also part Maine Coon, was definitely more on the crazed end of the spectrum-- and a completely flaily klutz, which was kind of hilarious.

My Dom (Dominic) is the most hilarious ridiculous thing ever. I worry I don't cater to his redonk energy enough.
