Yes, it was; I always have wondered how thick the bond between mother and child is (I'm not a mom myself) and I always can sense when something is wrong with my mother. So the bond must be pretty thick; even if the child is so far away... Glad you like it.

It's so beautiful and bitter-sweet .. I suspected something had happened with either he mom or her dad so the ending was not surprising .. still ... very sad.
