The plan was to do art in advance, so I could post it even while at my parent's house. The reality is that I'll be playing catch up once I get back home on Saturday! I seem to have caught the 'feel like poop with no real symptoms' virus from my boss and other manager, but I feel way better already. I will suffer no nonsense during the holiday

*keeps fingers crossed re. the heating* (I'm worried about similar, as I have to leave my turtles for a few days at Christmas. I have a few people who can pop in on them, but if there's a power cut, they'll be without their UV bulb and basking lamp for goodness knows how long :( )

I keep all of their enclosures heated very well to begin with, so I'm not overly worried. It's just frustrating when Important Things break right before the weekend/major holiday!

I'm lucky--cats can cope with temperature changes, especially no heat, fairly well. One time my oil burner died while I was at work and I came back to find them all balled up together on my duvet. Fingers crossed nothing goes amiss!
And I presume Blitzy's coming with you for the festivities?

Blitz is at my feet, because he was too slow to get up on the couch. Chewie holds the coveted couch position! I hope your kitties enjoy a lovely turkey meal tomorrow :D
