I went down to San Bernardino I went down to San Bernardino I went down to Sanbernardino way..I was feeling awful low I was wondering if you'd know oh oh oh I went down to San Bernardino where I found my flow my flow my flooooow.
Ok I'm done. That's a Kubla Kahn song by the way. It reminded me. Yeah you and me both dude. I mean the towns alright..I just really want to go home. *cries*
*hugs* At least you can go home, sort of, someday.
I know how you feel, though. Very well.
I hate when people try to sing about San Bernardino. I've heard a couple that do. It's mentioned in a Depeche Mode song and a Cowboy Mouth song (they're someone you might like, they're almost country....) Is the song any good, though?...
If it is the one I have heard than the answer is no. And not because of any feeling of country it may possibly have, since I don't automatically think counbtry is bad, but rather, I think it trys to imitate the feeling of Route 66. Of course the only way that feeling could be recouped would be if Nat King Cole came back to life and played the song. Man, Nat King Cole.... you know, he was a merry ole soul. A merry ole soul was he....
the song is very good. so is the band. but dont get me wrong. i like so much other music than country. i think i heard depeche mode and i think i liked them. but Kubla Kahn is the band that the band teacher at Kennedy is in. They are unbelievably good. Its mostly John Mayer kind of stuff though. But the only way to see if you like it is to hear it! ( kublakahn.com) i think thats their address anyway. ta ta, ida
