For those who know what's been going on: our Big Orange Kitty is home safe from today's surgery.

The lump they took out of him baffled the surgeons, and they're sending it out for testing. However, it wasn't attached to anything, and it was pretty uniform, and x-rays didn't turn up any other strange masses anywhere else in him.  We're cautiously

Yay, I hope everything really is ok with the kitty. Ours is recovering well from his surgery, but he Will Not Take Pills. I even tried to mix one in with some cat food that he'd been happily been eating out of my hand. He licked the bundle of cat food once, gave me a disgusted look, batted at me, and refused to have anything to do with me for a while. The booger.

Luckily the vet's office gave us liquid meds and transdermal gel this morning.
