Half-formed half-blood prince reaction
Well, I just got home from the midnight screening.
1. Rupert Grint has grown into a really excellent comedic actor.
2. Overall, a great adaptation.
3. Isn't the elder wand supposed to be really plain?
4. Inferi are scary in predictable ways.
5. I would put up with Horace Slughorn if he fed me that many profiteroles.
6. FABULOUS special effects, and I think Hogwarts has mysteriously become more detailed as time goes on. (For instance, I've never actually noticed the counters for the house points in the Great Hall before.)
7. Quidditch has also improved over the years.
8. My knees hurt, because I was so focused on getting into the theater that I walked into a bench. Um, oops. (The cineplex in Michigan City had 7 midnight showings, with the possibility to add one more. I've never seen that parking lot so full! They were just filling theaters as people arrived.)
