Lately I have been hearing a lot of people just in life talk about how much they hate newton/newton south. In the boys bathroom some chinese kid was just like "this school sucks" and most people I know have at one point or another talked about how they wanted to "escape" from Newton. i love you so much, and i'm so proud that you're my brother.
you're not closed-mided--you're way more open-minded than a lot of the stupid idiots who think they're so "liberal" and populate our school and our town. you're amazing and intelligent and such a deep thinker. and i am so proud.

i wrote a post about newton that was very similar to this about a year ago. i'll see if i can find it at some point...we're remarkably the same.

second, personally, I like growing up in the suburbs because it's safe and very nice. I love Newton South too. I don't get why people don't like it. But when I get older I definitely would like to leave. It's just like, I feel really sheltered here, and I'm glad Newton is so safe, but eventually I would want to branch out.
