I have been friends with someone for five years...We has sex.

I am not really sure if we are still cool or not, I hope we are..

I am scared I might have lost one of my best friends.

Someone tell me how to fix this situation...

Well you made that choice and sounds like before hand you two didn't discuss what might happen or you just didn't think in length what could have happened.

The best you can do is open the line of communication and talk to them and see where they are in the situation. Don't assume anything....

You won't know unless you talk and if you are having sex then you should be able to talk about it especially if this is a good friend.

Chances are the friendship has changed BUT doesn't mean it is over or has to be over. Just talk to them!
