Looking for something to do? Emma reminded me that the UNT fashion collection has an exhibit up of gowns from Caralee's Closet. You can find info about it here, and you can click on the ad for more info. The exhibit is in Dallas, which I didn't realize. I think I'll have to run down there on my Thanksgiving vacation!

Okay, I don't know if any of you would be as crazy as I was and use mohair fur for a costuming project, but I can highly recommend Intercal if you do. They sell a wide variety of small cuts and have tons of colors, lengths, and finishes for the fur, plus their customer service was outstanding. I just got a pair of prosthetic elf ears from Hightower Crafts and woo-boy am I pleased with them! They are about a million times nicer than the ones you get from halloween shops! And best of all, Hightower now takes paypal in case you are like me and are nervous about overseas credit card orders.
