Oh yea, so I've totally joined in on all of the 'gambling' at work, lol. Apparently a majority of the staff here are reality show addicts (mainly Survivor and Amazing Race). They've taken to putting money in a pot to bet on the winners. It costs $10 to join (if your person/team comes in 1-3rd place you win anywhere from $20-$100 back). So I handed ( Read more... )

turns out one of the Survivor contestants lives in Susanville, I do not watch the show, but his name is Ben "coach". So I will be rooting for him since he is the local guy, hehe. Maybe I will see him around town, I hear he is single jk.hehe

Lmao...he kinda creeps me out on the show...and he seems to be a pompous pain in the butt. Stay clear of him, haha j/k.

so it turns out everyone I have met hates the survivor guy. He is known for being a pompous ass, and one co-worker even described him as the village idiot. However, he hasnt returned back to Susanville yet-so ive heard, so he might of gotten pretty far in the competition.

They actually have Survivor events every week here, and you can go to veterans hall to watch the show. He was pretty well known in the community, and many people can't believe that he is representing the community.

Susanville is okay, I like my job, and its beautiful, but I think I will get really bored if I stay too long.
