Hello everyone. I'm Cleo also known as Sacharissa. I only just joined this group and am new to the fandom. I rented the miniseries a couple of weeks back and saw it for the first time. #1 Never apologize for what you don't 'ship. We're a pretty low-kew group of fangirls when it comes to that. :)

#2 I think the magic of Glitch is that it's kind of impossible to figure out how he'd be, which makes the fanfic so much fun. All the points you made are quite valid, but I know I can't give you a single answer. :\

I think I've kinda written most every variation of him that you mentioned on those rare occasions when I can find his voice

The one thing I can say for certain about Glitch - the snark is ALL Ambrose, whether Glitch remembers being him or not. I only say this because Glitch didn't strike me as a "rude" guy, but I could see a frustrated Ambrose getting a little snippy.

#3 Most of the fanfic seems to be centered on ff.net or at tinman_fic. There may be other places - as some authors don't post to either - but those are the biggies. I'd suggest thegraygale, as well, which is the fanfic recc comm - you might find a good starting place there. :)The fandom is in a slight "quiet" phase ( ... )

I can be fickle about my 'ships. Sometimes, I'm pretty open-minded and accepting about the same two characters within other arrangements, but Glitch/DG is one of my OTP's. DG/Cain has never done anything for me, and I've come to sort of resent it due to disinterest and a wish that they had elaborated more on the Dorothy/Scarecrow relationship from the original film. DG/Glitch are a couple I want to see solely with each other, and I avoid DG/Cain stuff like the plague. But hey, much love to anyone who might be reading this and does like them. I'm not trying to offend.

Another surprisingly notable 'ship is Glitch/Azkadelia, which I thoroughly don't get. I sort of secondarily support Cain/Azkadelia, which makes a lot more sense to me, but I've yet to come across a fic with these two paired up.

So, what would happen if his brain was put back? Would he still be ( ... )

That's where most of my resentment of DG/Cain comes from too. I still kinda want to slap the creators for that. Sorry for replying two months after the fact but ITA w/your post. :)

Oops, only now replying to this! I'm a terrible fandom person. Better late than never, though. :)

...just enough iff-y stuff to make people suspicious and me uncomfortable.Same here! Wow, that long shipping Dorothy/Scarecrow! I think I started shipping it when I was 8... and unfortunately it was the cartoon version... and I sort of wanted to be Dorothy, LOL (Er, I got over that last part eventually). I also thought Tin Man was the *perfect* opportunity to pair them up! I still remember this one comment at the SyFy official forums from someone (not me) who was outraged because they were actually expecting a lot more than just hand-holding between DG and Glitch. I believe they referred to it as "getting down to the good stuff." It was hilarious. XD ( ... )

I'm so happy to see another member here (and a new one at that!).

I agree that DG/Cain is a little squicky to my fangirl, but aside from that, I can't really see him with anyone other than Adora (he was so devoted to finding her and his son, I don't think he'll be looking for a new relationship anytime soon).

And of course, DGlitch is so damn cute, and they have alot in common ( ... )
