( For the first couple weeks after the double eclipse, DG would often find Glitch in the brain room of Az's tower )

I'm so glad you posted more! Loved them. The first one is kind of sad but also hopeful. Poor Glitch. Pre-rebraining jitters scenes are something I never tire of reading. Everyone's got their own take, and it's usually at least a little bittersweet. I really enjoyed yours. "It's not just what's in there that counts, it's what's in here, too." That was my favorite line.

About the second one, I like how you took a little moment where nothing really happens and made it a lovely little snap of what their lives were like before tragedy struck. Very cute. Not enough stories about little DG and Ambrose out there.

I'm an angst queen, so most of the stuff I write is usually a bit sad and angsty, but I try and make it less so whenever possible. :D

I'm finding that Glitch/Ambrose is a character everyone sees a little differently, and it's infinitely interesting seeing what others do with a character compared to what you do with him. I love that.

Heh, I'm an angst queen myself. I mean, I *want* happy endings, but writing angst is just so much fun! In any case the two aren't really mutually exclusive. :)

Oh yes, Glimbrose (or Glambrose) is a different character for every writer! Definitely very interesting. I get the feeling yours is a lot like Glitch, which happens to be one of my favorite versions. So, aside from yours, which version do you like the most? Like I said personally love the Glimbrose that's basically Glitch, only brainier and more shy, but for some reason my own version is rather melancholic and emotionally distant. *shrugs*

I pretty much feel the same. Glimbrose for me would probably be similar to Glitch, a bit more prone to introspection with all the new thoughts he'd be exposed to and less likely to just voice out loud whatever crosses his mind. But his overall personality, the good natured and happy aspects especially, would shine through.
