Clash of the Inanities (*spoilers*)

Last weekend Noah and I went to see Clash of the Titans, and when I first left the theater, I was sort of numbed out (in the way I have gotten after seeing super-fast action movies for the last few years), and mostly wondering how Noah reacted, since he was hugely into the original movie and has become quite an expert on Greek mythology.

It's just that after the umpteenth hairs' breadth near crash and high speed twist and turn, it was like "gee, let me guess what's next... another high speed twist and turn... ho hum..."

That's how I felt about the Jack Black King Kong movie. I commented to Erik at the time that having King Kong fight three T-rexes instead of just one (or none in the first place!) seemed utterly gratuitous and unnecessary.
