I like your choice of characters and the way you focused on the interactions of those few key players before everything goes wrong. You set vivid scenes and the turmoil of the location and historical period really came through, which made it an enjoyable read.

Poor Rhode! She had such a traumatic awakening.

This was a nice glimpse of the past that we've only heard hints of in the manga. Also, the art is pretty and captures those scenes well.
