Name: Amanda
Nickname: SandManda, AWOL, The Wall, Wallerby
Age: 16
Height: 5’4
Likes: Hmmm….Well, I like a lot of things. Animation, obviously, whether American or Asian. And manga. I enjoy reading A LOT. That’s one thing that I will never get over. And I read pretty much anything that is thrown at me: fiction or nonfiction, sci-fi or biography. I really enjoy Anne Rice, Garth Nix, Sonya Hartnett, just to name a few. And I re-read the classics all the time. Drawing/Sketching is another thing I do a lot. I fill up whole sketch books in a month’s time. I usually draw people or clothing, sometimes a combination of the two (XD). I’m also really getting into Graphic Design right now, and I’m thinking about that as an option for college. Soccer is a big part of my life right now, too, and pole vault is another biggy. I also like studying people. I’ve been caught staring at people numerous times. I do so not only for artistic reason (I like watching the body in motion, you know, the body at work), but I also like trying to understand people. Their choices, decisions, personalities, whatever. I enjoy the person even more if there’s an air of unpredictableness. (Is that creepy? I think it might very well be…) Continuing on: mythology, history, world culture, extreme sports, comedy, camping, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, broadway, comics, asian food, coffee, tea, forensic science, existentialism, music.
Dislikes: : Ha! Well, there are many things that annoy me, but I don’t usually hate things. I reserve that for people. People are easier to hate, whether it’s because someone is completely the opposite of you, or your freaky twins of eachother: cry babies (I hate people you cry ALL THE TIME. For every little thing. It makes everyone else around you uncomfortable too, you know.), dependant people (Stop being so clingy. Once you turn 11, you should have so degree of self-control and self-confidence to NOT need to hang-on to someone so desperatly), girls/guys who "need him/her too go on." (If you went out for a week and he/she dumped you, suck it up. It obviously wasn’t true love. As one says, “There are other fish in the sea”.), suicide (Just, no.), stereotypes (Are funny in comedy, but not relevent to real life…usually XD), homophobes (Once again, just no.), people who demand your attention constantly (You are not the star of this show called “life”, nor are you the Sun that the world revolves around. You’re an insect in a very large antfarm, just like the rest of us.), brand name whores (“Don’t touch my Louis!!!” *gunshot*), death, a poorly written book.
Strengths: I guess my best quality is that I’m willing to do a lot to get things the way they should be. If my friends are argueing, I know not too take one side. I figure out what happened, and solve it in the most non-nosense way possible (Well, I might crack some clever jokes along the way. Maybe...ok, thats pretty much a given). I’m also really easygoing (Until someone/something tests me). I can adapt to situations and changes easily. But I also know when to be really stubborn. See, I’m a taurus, so I can get bull-headed when argueing. I’m weird that way. I can listen to the other person’s side, understand it, compromise if needed, but in my head I’m all riled up and P.O.’d. Also, I start laughing when I get hurt. The more pain, the more fucking hilarious. I've broken my nose quite a few times, and each time I laugh my ass off because hurts so much. A lot of my friends think I’m a little loose in the head, because of this. I also have no problem dealing with blood and gore, I don’t get queasy. I think I’d probably be really good as a mom if I had all boys….
Weaknesses: I am very stubborn at times. I mean, if you suggest something to me, I might go along with it, if it’s logical and it seems like an intelligent thing to do. But if you try to force your opinion on me, I'll stand firm and not change my tune. No matter what you threaten. Example: a girl in school I hang out with and a bunch of her older friends were hanging out with me and my other friend behind the school. Everyone but me and my friend were smoking. Then my friend was offered a cigarrette and took it. They offered me one. I laughed and said "no, thanks". Then one of the older guys sneered (that’s right, the little bastard sneered. That fucking pisses me OFF.) said to "just do it ". I took the entire pack out of the guys hand, threw it on the ground, stomped it into the dirt, and walked away without a word. No one makes me do something I don’t want to (That story could actually go under either Good or Bad…. My other bad quality is that, even though I’m good at winning them, I argue way too much. I guess I just find it too easy to start an arguement these days, and sometimes I just start argueing for the sake of argueing.
Hobbies: soccer, pole vault, reading, writing, sketching, burning things, running, laughing (maniaclly or normally)
Talents: drawing, sketching, reading fast, laughing
Favorite Color: I love every hue of green. But I mostly love deep, earthy tones that have a dark quality to them. The only color I absolutely detest is yellow.
I love the color on this palette, especially the upper-most ones.Favorite Food: Pretty much anything that isn’t made of crap. No junk food for me. I’m really big on Organic Foods, but I’m not a vegetarian (lord, no). I like meat too much. And I could live on asian pears, green peppers, and lobster.
Mature or Immature?: I think it depends on who’s the judge of this. 50/50 with the people I know. Half think I’m immature (way crazy), the other half think I’m mature (way to calm at the weirdest times). I guess it depends on how you look at it. My actions can be really immarture, but I've been told that I have a keen and mature view on life.
Leader or Follower?: can do both. I can follow demands when I want to. But more often than not, I take advantage of the leader, and end up becoming a very...um...influential sidekick. And I also can step up and take the position of leader when things aren’t going well, especially when asked. I won’t hesitate if help is asked of me and it is most obviously needed.
Optimist or Pessimist?: REALISTIC. My friend mistakes this for pessimistic, but really, I just think of all the options beforehand very quickly, then I either pick the most logical one, or I voice all of the possibilities so as to have the group help decide. Oh, and I’m very blunt. Especially with my friends, When you ask me a question, be prepared for the truth, because I’ll give it….should I have put that under my bad qualities?
Favorite D.Gray-Man character and why: Rinali and Allen. Allen is just too adorable, yet still kickass……Actually that’s the same reason why I like Rinali, too!?
Anything else?: Yes….no wait, no.
Picture(s) or very detailed description of what you look like:
The first two are recent. I just love the last one a lot.
