from an "old" girl scout, are you looking for pity?
grow up.
there is always drama when girls are involved. airing your "dirty laundry" to the masses is childish behavior. throughout your summer entries, you have tried to make it sound like none of the occurances at your camp were your fault. you're looking for sympathy.
the reason that numbers are low is not due to staff, but due to a decline in interest in girl scouting by today's cultural standards. my camp "suffers" in the same way.
as an adult, i hope your comments do not affect future job positions for yourself.

First of all, if you're going to post opinions like that, have the decency to own up to them...second of all, this is my private journal, how am I airing this to the masses? I really don't belive that the majority of what happened this summer WAS my fault...and unless you're a staffer from this summer, I don't know how you could say otherwise...if you are a staffer from this summer, you have the right to your opinion, but I will have to disagree with you. If you are a staffer from this summer, and you DO think that what happened this summer was my fault, own up to your opinions, give me evidence and examples of how it was my fault and we will move from there

I agree with sissa216. I used to think the courthouse "elopement" would never be enough. However, I look back every day and am happier and happier with it. I look at pictures and have tears of joy brought to my eyes.
You are right a wedding is a celebration of the start of your life together...and how great it is going to be. Like sissa said don't let the details drag you down. The little things for the rest of your life are going to make you forget about the little details of that day.
just don’t let the bullshit distract you from the good shit, ok? =)
Sorry about camp, even someone removed as I am knows it is important to you and I am sorry it was not everything you wanted. However, you have many summers/years in front of you and many more good ones to come I am sure!
