Ah. I guess we really do must look like rabbits if a whole herd mistook him for their mother.

He got rid of them rather quickly, found them homes which is good seeing as he keeps a hawk. [If it's possible for a mechanical golem to take on a tender tone, it has. But there's also the look about Joyd's face as he speaks of Atticus.]
