[Have a wild Bookman sitting behind a desk in the library in the East wing, flipping through both welcome pamphlets.  Piles of journals written by his Apprentices both past and present are scattered across the desk, nearby chairs and the floor next to his feet. He harrumphs at both pamphlets pushing them off to one side.]

Any minute now.

[Pausing at this entrance. Knew he felt a familiar presence.]

...Right. [Turning and walking away before getting caught. Joyd has no want to be hit.]

[[ooc; /squeals ♥ H-have a Pleasures!Lavi, his info is in his journal. And welcome to the crazy!]]

[Lights up a cigarette. Nothing escape his panda eagle eyes]

Leaving so soon. I thought I taught you better manners than that.

[[ooc: OH MAI. This one is going to hurt his brain! ♥]]

[See, this is why he should know to avoid things but still so new.

Pausing with a jerk and looking warily over his shoulder.] Somehow I'm guessing you won't want to see me, old man. Your brat's sound asleep.

[[ooc; I had...two others but figured this one would be more breaking.]]

Is he? [Gestures to the chair across from him]

Then are you too busy to keep an old man company?

[A slow chuckle and he pulls out a cigarette.]

So long as that Innocence of yours stays where it's supposed to be, old man, I don't see why not.

[Not like he has anything against Bookman. And Lavi'd wake up if he attacked Bookman. Not wanted.]

[Offers a light to the Noah before settling back in his chair. He finds the statement a bit odd (though years of practice keep the emotion from reaching his expression) that Joyd who worry over something like that. While on the side of the Exorcists, Bookman was Bookman first.]

Curious. Just how many memories of your host can you dig through?

[A soft thanks - can't say that he expected Bookman to take this calmly - but Joyd is in the body of his apprentice which is something that could be problematic in the future~]

All of the ones I was present for, which would be... Oh~ Since age nine.

[A bit of relief at that, if Joyd can catch it. If Lavi turned at age 9, then Bookman probably long abandoned the boy to find another Apprentice]

Seems a bit early for your kind to be up and about.

[Musing for a moment with a smirk that isn't none too kind.]

I wasn't awake like I am now. Merely watching without anyone noticing~ [Takes a drag on the cigarette.] In fact your training on the brat was so good that I couldn't get control until I came here.

And what about this place allowed you to gain control?

amemoryhalved April 16 2011, 03:33:01 UTC
The change in environment and the fact that I was saving his ass.

[Well, can't really argue with his apprentice needing help when he was flying solo]

And what exactly was giving you trouble?

Reply

amemoryhalved April 16 2011, 03:48:06 UTC
[Not exactly flying solo seeing as Bookman was nearby.]

One of my brothers was trying to stick his creepy tongue in my host, I wasn't going to have it.

[New information, get. What now?]

And why would your brother be attacking one of his own siblings?

amemoryhalved April 16 2011, 03:58:30 UTC
He didn't know I was in here, not like any of them do. [Split himself in half, after all. Only Rhode knows really.]

The Noah cannot sense unawakened brethren within their hosts.

[While it may not be applicable to his own world, still filing away for future use]

And you mentioned this environment allowing easier control over your host.
