[Well-- that's certainly an odd thing to see, isn't it? Especially for someone that doesn't really have much idea about what the Ark is at all in terms of other universes. (Really, he just assumes the Noah guy and his Ark makes up the "normal" version of what could've happened, while everyone else got fucked over.)

What are you? What did you do to the Ark?? [Shifting his stance like he's totally prepared to take you on. He's just... assuming you're the shape-shifting Noah or something evil!!]

[Rubbing at his ears - that doesn't actually help to make them feel better, but it's a habit when things hurt.]

The what? [Narrowing his eyes a little, in the typical fashion of someone who is dealing with another person that clearly has a few screws loose. Not that most Allens don't, though.]

Since when did you become a forgetful idiot? [Last he checked, Mean was very aware of what he was. Seriously.]

I haven't forgotten anything! [Juts his arm out, pointing back at where the Ark had been.]

The Ark! How did you divert it?

I-- [A brief pause as he tries to remember what "divert" means, but he catches it in a second or two despite the fumble.] I didn't do anything like that!

What's with you today? [Really man, this is like the first time he's seen you since he was unbittified and you are kind of alarming him.]

[Look at him, he knows new words now ;u; You're kind of alarming him too, you know. Why are you talking like you know him...]

What are you talking about? Who're you supposed to be?

...you really don't remember?

[He... actually looks kind of worried by that. Maybe even a little upset.] But... [Well, the kid was taller now. It did sort of make sense.] Where do you remember being last?

Remember what? [For some reason, though, he's settling down slightly, although he looks no less confused. Maybe he did forget something...]

I was meant to be heading to the Asia Branch!

[Fffff-- his expression just sort of falls at that.

This was like his sire all over again. Except his sire had gone back in time, not forward-- to the point where he wasn't even like him anymore. Hobo sighs, lifting a hand to rub the side of his head.] You were here before... For maybe a year, I think-- I've been here a little longer than that.

The Asia branch will probably have to wait for a little while.

[Perhaps unlike your sire, Mean is beginning to look like... some of this is starting to register.]

[That is very much unlike his sire. Considering the guy had been lingering around dark corners of the place for a few months now, and still couldn't remember a goddamn thing.]

The Dressing Room. [He falters slightly, rubbing at the side of his head, before he adds;] Ah... Welcome back, Allen.

[Even if he didn't remember it.]

[There's a bit of a pause, where he just squeezes his eyes shut and rubs his head. Biggest headache coming on here... But after he hears the place's name, it's beginning to all flood back, it seems.]

...You're older again...

[--Ah! He can hear the headache, but there's a lot more recognition in there now than there was a moment ago - to the point that Mean wasn't actively freaking out and he seemed to have an idea who he was.

He probably shouldn't smile at that-- but he does anyway.]

It only lasted for a few days-- but I couldn't really find you again after that... are you all right?

[Hnnggg so much sudden recognition. Scrubs at his face with both hands, then looks over at Hobo. You seem shorter than he remembers :|a...]
