[You might hear the sound of a cane tapping on the floor for a little while before you see this guy coming down the hallway. He's holding a laptop bag in one hand and a red and white cane in the other, and it's obvious he's blind... and it's just as obvious he's talking to someone who's no longer walking next to him

[There's a growl from his side, actually, the same side that Lavi was on. The panther sniffs at Allen's hand holding the cane and then snorts hot air on it. You certainly don't have Innocence on you, that means he can get pets. Tyki shoves his head into Allen's hand, phasing the cane to get them.

Don't worry, he's more of a lazy cat than a proper Noah.]

[lets out a completely undignified yelp] What- what in the world? [if you'd asked him to give you a list of things he expected at that particular moment, 'giant animal in his school trying to get him to pet it and ignoring the laws of physics to do so' would not have been anywhere near, oh, the top one hundred.]

[Tyki just snorts again at the yelp, nosing at Allen's palm to get the pets he wants. He loves scaring the shit out of people like this but for some reason it seems like he's scared Allen more than the others and he flicks an ear in slight interest. This...might require him shifting back to his normal form.]

[kind of... exploring the shape of his head with shaking hands, trying to figure out what the heck it is he's petting. Feels kinda like a big cat of some sort...]

What in the world are you and what are you doing here...?

[See, telling you would require him shifting and Tyki's still unsure if Joyd has settled down. Just because the Memory is quiet doesn't mean a damn thing. But in an effort to calm the boy down Tyki does lick at his hand like a dog might - sorry if it's scratchy - and it's worrisome that the lad is blind. Never run into this before.]

[weirdly enough the lick calms him down a bit and he laughs softly] Well, you're friendly, it seems like... [sets his laptop bag down and slowly kneels, still exploring kitty with gentle hands] Don't bite my face off, okay? I just want to figure out what kind of animal you are... one who likes being pet, I think, am I right?

[Allen will run into a collar with a feather charm on it in place of a name tag, it's not his name but he certainly "belongs" to someone. It's just Tyki ran off from that Lavi for a little.

Tyki snorts again and just lets the lad explore, sitting on the floor as if he were a dog. Lazy ass thing.]

[that charm is interesting, and he takes some time 'looking' at it, then goes back to petting the huge cat's head]

You know, you're awfully friendly for such a big cat. You must be a cat, that tongue is way too scratchy to belong to a dog, and your ears are the wrong shape... but what is a big kitty like you doing here, and no one else around? [mostly just... talking to himself. He'll be mortified to find out 'kitty' can understand him]

[Only Tyki lets out a noise that could only be considered a laugh soon after his ears hear "big kitty", shaking his head to ruffle his fur back out. You definitely do like talking to yourself, sort of amusing. Allen should be glad his golem isn't with him, though.]

[oh, he's the type who would sit and talk to an animal for ages, he loves them dearly. Still, that sound - more like a laugh than he'd thought an animal really capable of making, and he starts to get the sense something odd is going on... well, odder than Lavi disappearing on him and then randomly running into a huge cat in someplace that really should be his university but is far too quiet]

... I'm starting to feel like there's some kind of prank being pulled here.

[No prank~ Though Tyki really can't figure out a way to explain things without shifting. He has no idea about the Braille dots that are sometimes on the walls under signs that say Dressing Room.]

[gives big!kitty's head one last pet, then stands up, feeling his way back to the wall and running his hand along it]

... This is not where I was. [realization is slowly dawning. Slowly.]

[Following after just to make sure he doesn't get into any trouble before someone else finds him. :T

Though the next doorway he finds is one out to a courtyard.]

[just about trips on the dip from floor to grass, and stands still for a minute; he can feel the wide open space, and it seems outdoors, the air is different]

Um. I have a theory, kitty, and if I'm right... Well. Either I'm right, I'm crazy, or Lavi completely outdid himself in the prank department this time.

[Following behind, side brushing Allen's leg as he walks into the courtyard. Tyki lets out a raspy noise that almost sounds like a "right" but not quite, damn cat vocal cords.]

[turns his head in Tyki's direction] And you're not just a normal... whatever kind of cat you are, either, are you? I could swear you were trying to speak to me just there.
