[Stumbling out of a house of mirrors himself and almost into Lenalee, though he catches himself last moment.]

Ah. Hi, Lena. [Sketchy grin.]

[Reaching to steady him just in case. She looks a bit wan, but otherwise fine, and having someone to focus on kind of helps.]

Lavi, are you okay? [With the stumbling... Peers around him at the house of mirrors he'd tumbled out of.] What was in there?

[He's glad she's looking better at least, their last encounter left Lavi very worried for her. His grin steadies.]

Yeah, I'm fine. Just thought I saw someone I knew in there as I went out the exit, one of those half turn arounds that isn't such a good idea. [Looks back at it.] Just one of those mirror maze rooms.

[She's trying her best to act okay. Keeping her lightly on his elbow anyway.] Mirror maze...

Was it fun?

[He won't shake it off, it looks like it's grounding her in some ways.]

It was alright, not sure I'd go in it again. But there are other things here to enjoy. [Pauses then extends his arm like a gentleman, bowing slightly.]

Would milady care to join me on the carousel over yonder for a ride?

[She's never been on a carousel, but they are something she recognizes. And the colours are slightly less blinding, which is encouraging. There's a short beat of hesitation when he proffers his arm, though in the end Lenalee takes it with a small smile.] I'd like that.

[It's even one of the slower ones and there are horses that don't move as well as all sorts of different animals. Lavi grins and pats her arm before he starts guiding her over.]

What do you say afterwards I try and win you a prize to take home, yeah? Carnival toys are always special.

[That should be nice. She has her eye on a zebra mount. To be honest, she probably looks like a little child at their first carnival, following obligingly alongside him with an excited sort of bounce in her step despite the dizziness. Glancing over at him.] You would?

[For them both really it is their first time. Their carnivals at home were nothing like this for sure and even then Lavi never got to ride such things or play the games. He gives her a smile.]

Of course I would. Just point out a prize you like and I'll try my hand at it. [After their ride of course~ Moving into line for the carousel now.]

[fallforthesky]

[hfjkdf Lavi, you've succeeded in making her feel a hundred times better. She smiles back at him, a little more real and a little less tired, and hugs his arm more closely while they wait in line.] Thank you. I'd really like that.

[arebornstar]

[Good. She'll have been the only person just about so far this month that he's managed to cheer up. And in turn that makes him feel better as well.] Don't mention it, it's a carnival and we should enjoy it to the fullest!

[Ditto. It's just not their month, is it?] I want to try and win you something, too.

You don't have to, Lenalee. [He's not saying no, though.]

...I want to. [Softly said, as if she doesn't want the people ahead or behind them in line to hear.]

[Lavi grins and leans his head against her's slightly.] I'll look for a prize I like too then.

Good. [That's satisfied her. Tugs him along as the line begins to move.] I'll make sure I win it. Definitely.
