[You might hear the sound of heavy, rasping breaths and stumbling feet before you see the person the sounds are coming from; Allen looks like he's been running for a while and has been forced by exhaustion to slow to a walk, though he's still hurrying along. He's holding his cane tightly in his right hand as usual - but his left is clamped tightly

[Oh sweet jesus, Miranda went through one of these too!

Now that she knows where his room is located, Miranda has gotten a small need to go and wander around the area, hoping to run into Allen... And to make sure he was okay.... But she wasn't expecting this.]

I-Illusions?... Are people really old and dying?...

Something like that. [sighs] Or dying in other ways, or... or just horribly injured. That sort of thing.

[and then he registers that it's maybe a little strange she knew that, and frowns] How did you guess?

Road did the same thing to me last year on Lavi's birthday. Everyone I saw was decaying right before my eyes! It was horrific!
