[All of you who were coming by for a bite to eat at Vath!Kanda's restaurant are getting treated to a very special sight today. The door has its closed sing up, but isn't locked, and the sound of plates breaking and things getting generally destroyed can be faintly heard from the other side ( Read more... )

[really, Allen just wanted to go somewhere he knew well, somewhere he could sit and rest for a little while... but as he draws closer to the restaurant, a makeshift blindfold now tied over his eyes so he doesn't always have to hold his hand there, he hears the sounds of things breaking, and starts to get worried. Soon enough, there's no mistaking it's coming from the restaurant, and it makes him worry that Rhode got to his friend as well... so in spite of his better judgement, he opens the door just a crack, just enough to call out]

Kanda...?

[CRASH]

[Sounded like another plate. But Kanda stops throwing shit at the sound of someone's voice, and he looks over at blindsprout with dead eyes (not that he can see them). His voice is tight with anger and ill-concealed despair, his breathing somewhat ragged and forced.]

...Thought you were blind, sprout.

[bitterly] I'm meant to be. [he takes a hesitant step into the doorway] Kanda... is there anything I can do? Even if... you need more plates to break, I can probably find you some... [he has no idea what happened, but Kanda's voice sounds awful, and since this one is always so calm... it must be really, truly horrible]

I'll be fine. Did they get you too?

[Kanda walks over to him, kicking large pieces of debris out of the way. His anger was subsided enough for him to worry about his blind friend.]

[shrugs] She gave me my sight back, but nothing I see is as it should be.

[by the sounds of it, though, whatever has happened to Kanda is a lot worse - and he hesitates, concerned but not sure if he should ask]
