[Lenalee hasn't been around much (read: at all) for the past several weeks. You might have noticed, if you're friends with her, or you may not have. But regardless of which, if you happen to meander down this hallway at this particular moment in time, you'll find that she's finally turned up again. Her hair is considerably shorter now than it was

Tim, however, is not. The golem flits over to Lenalee happily, blue Myka right behind him.]

And indeed that flash of gold is something she's gotten so used to looking out for, on every mission, so she spots him right away. Immediately holding her hands out for him!] Tim!
[And she does notice Myka, but a blue golem she's never seen before catches her attention only by way that she's never seen it before. Is it from another Branch?]

Myka! Stop it!
[That hushed yet familiar voice. He figures he's caught anyway and reaches out to grab her, sticking his head out warily.]
Sorry, Lenalee.

It doesn't add up.
And, well, then Allen cautiously pokes his head around the corner and it all goes to hell. To her own surprise, those golden eyes don't make her feel even half as much surprise or betrayal as her nightmares gave her. She feels a little dizzy all of a sudden, like she's spent a while trying to forget something that just didn't want to be forgotten.]
Your- your face. What happened to your face...? Allen?
[Are you Allen?]
Reply
He smiles without showing his teeth and hesitates only a moment.]
It's fine, Lenalee. They're old scars from something I shouldn't have tangled with.

[Not that she can tell whether or not it's true, when he pulls his hood lower like that. And it unnerves her, that she feels as if this really is Allen, when everything about him, save for Tim, says he isn't. She holds the golem a little closer to her.] Where am I?

It's the light that bothers him, it always has but on some nights it's worse. Especially with whitewashed walls. He smiles a little without showing his teeth again, putting Myka on his shoulder.]
You're in the Dressing Room again, Lenalee.
Reply
Giving him the blankest look.] I'm in a dressing...?
Reply
...oh.
[This isn't fair!]

He smiles weakly and walks a little closer, trying to make his silent footsteps sound but it's hard.]
I'm sorry... Is everything alright at home?
Reply
"All right"? No, not really. But she does her best not to show just how badly it's worn her down, shrugging weakly as he approaches and busying herself with stroking Tim's wings.] We lost Allen, Lavi and Bookman three months ago. Kanda, too, but... he found his way home again. I was at the Asian Branch with him, a moment ago.

When Allen gets close enough he leans his forehead against her's in a companion-like way. Forgive him but contact is the main thing for his kind.]
I'm sorry. I know how much they all mean to you... [He can hear that ache. It makes him hurt as well.] But I'm glad that Kanda is back, that means the others are bound to follow.

Ah, well, be that as it may, that is a lot of contact out of nowhere and she goes slightly pink from it. She's already had one wow, that is a lot of contact moment today with Kanda drinking from her palm, and maybe that's why she doesn't pull back- because now she's thinking about the look Kanda gave her again and it sort of shuts her motor functions down.
Still, her voice is strong. Determined.] I'm going to find them again. All of them.

It's soothing and he's trying to sooth her rattled nerves. After all, she did just find herself in one place and the next in another. That's enough to make even Kanda jumpy and paranoid.
Allen laughs softly but it's not in a tone that makes fun of her.] I believe you, Lenalee. If anyone can do it, you can.
Reply
Unfortunately, she can feel a cold, hard ache forming in the pit of her stomach originating from the point of contact. She's jumpy, she's a little paranoid, she's suddenly exhausted by hideous memories drifting to the surface, and she's touching 'Allen' for the first time in a... long time.]
I'm tired of losing people to this war.
Reply
As soon as he hears it Allen will pull his head back, leaving an inch or two between their heads now. It lets him smile softly, sadly, and tilt his head a little.]
I know how you feel. Do you want me to go get someone? [Someone that can help you better?]
