[It's probably extremely unusual to see a Kanda with a young baby - an infant, really - let alone asleep while she's nomming and tugging on his very messy hair. It's obvious what her favorite play toy is despite having teddy bears and other baby toys scattered about the sitting room floor

[Cross had been watching the scene in the room. It was amusing to see how much the child could wear the angel down just as easily as the Noah could. When the man saw Gabriel stir, Cross moved over to his lover, scooping up the child to get her to leave the smaller man alone.]

She's growing, angel... It's to be expected.

There is no need for her to grow so fast. [Letting Cross take the child, sitting up on the couch and attempt to fix his hair. He's tired from taking care of her, sex with the Noah, and exploring his feelings with the other angel.

But at least now it wasn't such a task to get him to admit things like his being disgruntled at Belle's growth.]

[He sets the child against his shoulder, bouncing her gently to try and calm her enough to want a nap.

If Gabriel asked, Cross wouldn't peruse him in the bedroom. The larger man didn't want to be intimate with the angel if the other didn't want to be. It went against his number one rule about sex.]
