OC Policy
No one wants to play in a community full of Sues, so to avoid that:
ALL ORIGINAL CHARACTERS MUST BE HUMAN.
▸ What if my OC is a genetically altered human?
As long as that gives them ZERO extra abilities and minimal non-humanoid characteristics, that's fine.
Not Acceptable: My character's father was Sephiroth and he can cut buildings in half and his eyes are sooooo deeply green that people look at them and die and his pecs are carved out of granite and now read this paragraph about his hair.
Perfectly Acceptable: My character's unethical and highly ambitious great aunt got hold of him and tried to splice a strawberry's genes into his. No lasting effects have been observed save for a very pleasant aroma, understandable PTSD, and an aversion to anything red.
▸ So the point is... Zero extra abilities?
Yes, that's the point. And zero super cool optional attachments like adorable neko ears or angel wings. If a canon character has adorable neko ears and angel wings, that's fine. You just can't have an OC with them because on OC's, they usually accompany a flashing neon sign which reads, "I HAVE NO MEMORIES BUT I DO REMEMBER MY TRAGIC PAST. I'M ALSO REALLY HOT. EVERYONE IS GOING TO FALL IN LOVE WITH ME. SOON THE WHOLE STORY WILL REVOLVE AROUND ME, PS: I WILL BE PISSED IF IT DOESN'T. ALSO, I AM ONE-DIMENSIONAL AND HAVE ZERO CHARACTER FLAWS." That's a really long sign, but generally the character's creator is totally unaware of its garish, glowing presence. How does that even happen? /:
