Just cuz it came up tonight... I hate those ``if you care about < x > aspect of my life, let me know and I'll put you on < x > filter'' posts. It's something that makes me feel awkward and self-conscious. If you're my friend, you know me, and you know that I want to know anything about you that you want to tell me. So it's up to you :).

Sometimes it's not about telling people so much as just writing it down for me, but I feel that some people would be entertained/interested, or I'd prefer not to tell everyone who asks for a total of 20 billion times. Then again, I've only done opt-in once, for a filter that had a single post. My filters are opt-out. ;)
